BUDLEIGH SALTERTON AND DISTRICT

Budleigh Salterton and District Hospiscare is a registered charity, independently funded by the generosity of the local community. We provide nursing care to alleviate the physical, emotional and social needs of patients with cancer and other serious illnesses.

We enter into a therapeutic holistic relationship with patients, relatives and carers.  Wherever possible, the care is provided in the patient's own familiar home environment, by our three highly trained and experienced nurses.

Our services are available to those who are registered with the Budleigh Salterton or Woodbury Surgeries.  The initial contact with a Hospiscare nurse is normally made by referral from the GP, but approaches are welcomed from individuals (relatives, carers or patients themselves), or from nursing home or hospital staff.    Our services are provided free of charge.
